Its been awhile

Sorry i haven't been on here in a long time. I have been extremely tired from pregnancy and chasing a one year old around. We are now a part of a playgroup that we do things with a couple times a week. its so much fun to have adult conversations with people and emma and enjoys hanging out with all of the kids. Today we went for the final cook the group will be having for the summer. It was so much fun. I think there were about 20 people there.
Emma is starting to do so much. She loves to walk and although she is not great at it yet she prefers walking over crawling. Its so cute to watch. I have been wanting to take a video but my camera is broken. It is killing me to not take pictures. She is also talking up a storm these days. I don't know what she is saying 90% of the time but its still cute. We have been doing people's names with her and so far she can say grif, mimi, and gage. if she is in a good mood she will go around saying grif or as she says it gif.
As for baby Lillian she is doing great. I have been having some issues but still nothing compared to the problems I had while pregnant with Emma. Sorry i have no pictures but hopefully my camera will work soon. if not i will be taking it in.

Its a GIRL!!!!

Yesterday I went to have my big ultrasound done and found out that once again I will have another girl. Both Dale and I are thrilled to be having another little princess. I think Emma will enjoy it as well. My sister and I have always been close growing up so Im sure Emma and Lillian will as well. I was unable to get a picture of Lillian because she was breached so the doctor had a hard time seeing everything. I have to go and get another one at some point since he was unable to see the kidneys and head real well. Her head was right at my belly button so it was impossible for him to get a good view. I was however able to see her opening and closing her mouth. She is already precious. They are sticking with the due date of January 5th which works for me.

Emma just turned 11 months old 2 days ago. Its amazing to think last year at this time I was waiting for her to come. She is crawling so well these days and its hard to keep up with her. She is extremely energetic which I love. She has to be on the go all the time. She is also a pro at finger walking so I don't think it will be long until she is walking.

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July

Sorry I haven't written lately I have just been busy keeping up with Emma. She is not crawling but she is scooting around. She is getting good at it too. She can get from one side of the room to the other at no time at all. She is also talking up a storm these days. Her favorite word is still dada but she is saying mama a lot more these days. She also has learned to say hi, no, woof, and baba (thats what we call her bottle).
We have been enjoying the summer by going to the pool a lot. Its been so much fun for the both of us to socialize with other people. We usually meet our friends Colleen and Aubrey. Emma and Aubrey don't really know what to think of each other but its so cute to see them together. They are not good at sharing. We usually bring toys for the kids to play with but they want what the other one has and will try hard to take it. I hope she gets out of that habit.
We had a great July 4th. We went to Tuscola which is about 20 minutes from our home and played with farm animals, ate things that are very bad for us and watch some fireworks. Emma was not at all interested in the fireworks. I guess that is better than her crying during them. We had such an exhausting day that we came straight home and all went to sleep (including me). I look forward to taking her next year when she really will appreciate them. I hope you all had a great july 4th.

Fathers Day weekend!!

First Happy Father's day to all the fathers out there. Our father's day was great we put most of the fence up or really Dale put the fence up I just watched. I really wish I could of helped more but I am unable to lift things like that right now. After that we watched tv together and then went to dinner which was so nice. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. When we got back we found out our power was out from a big storm we had while we were eating. It was out for a long time so we considered staying at hotel but luckily we didn't b/c as soon as we were about to leave it came back on.
We had planned to go to where the first ragedy ann and andy's were made but due to the flooding there we weren't able to. So instead we did a bunch of nothing which was fine with me. We don't get to see Dale a lot during the week so having him home is enough for me.
Emma is doing so great. She went for her 9 month appointment last week and weighs 16.7 pounds. Its not a huge jump but we will take it. She is also close to crawling. I think in the next few weeks she will be on the move. I promise I will tape her once she does start.
Sorry for the lack of pictures. I need to get on the ball with pictures. Again happy fathers day to all. I miss you daddy. I wish I could of seen you today. We love you all.

Emma started school today

It was a sad day for mommy because I had to drop my daughter off at school for the first time. Luckily, i was running late for work so I couldn't get too emotional but I am pregnant anyway so I will be emotional. She had a great day but didn't eat or sleep too much which I heard was normal for a babies first time in daycare. When she got home she was starving and exhausted. So I fed her and we both went and layed down in bed together. Poor little girl had it rough today. But I do think she had fun with all the kids. Sorry I don't have any pictures today but I wanted to let everyone know about her first day at school.

We are back

I am finally able to post after a wonderful trip down to North Carolina. We went down there for my cousins wedding and for Emma to be baptised. It was a wonderful week once we got down there. We had decided to split our trip up by first stopping in at my dads. It was a 9 hour trip to his house which Emma did not like at all. By the time we got there she wanted nothing to do with her carseat. It was great to see all of them. Emma really loves to see her Grandpa. The teenage girls were even there to see Emma so that shows how much they must like her.

After spending the night at my dads we went to see Pamala for the night. She was going to keep Emma friday night so we could have an adult night. It was really nice to be able to spend the evening with just adults but by the end of the night I just wanted to hold my little girl. That was Emma's first night away from mommy and I was told she did excellent which is great news since she will be going to Daycare starting the 27th. On Friday I was finally able to meet the new addition to the Comeaux clan, Miss Amelia. It was so exciting to get to see her. I think she looks nothing like her older sister but I am the only one that feels that way. I was also excited to see Julie. She has grown so much since the last time I saw her. She is now saying Melanie instead of Mel Mel which just shocked me. I was so happy to see everyone in my family because I haven't seen any of them since November. I wish all of them lived closer to us. On Saturday we went to pick Emma up and to see Holly and Gage and meet Stephanie. We were very excited to see them all. I really wish we could have seen them longer but we just had such a busy weekend.

We came back to Burlington and met up with everyone at a park that we all loved as children. We have also decided that is where Emma's birthday party will be. Emma had such a great time with everyone there but I think the carousel scared her. She cried the second time we put her on there. Later on we went to Laurens wedding which was wonderful. On Sunday we baptised Emma at the same church that I was baptised at. She did such a wonderful job. I was worried she might cry when he poured that water on her head but she was fine with it. I should have known she would have been because she is a very mellow baby. She only cries when she is exhausted or hungry and thats it. I am so blessed to have her. Hopefully my second child will be just as good. lets all hope.

Update on us!

Yesterday Emma got her helmet which she is still getting use to. Its really hard to put on but I am sure after plenty of practice I will be a pro at it. Once it is on her she doesn't seem to mind it which is what I was really worried about. she just continues to play. While we were at the doctors office she hit her head on the table when leaning to far back while wearing the helmet. I guess she thought it was cool that it didn't hurt so she did it two more times. Silly baby.

This weekend Emma said her first word. It was dada. He was so proud of her and almost cried when she said it to him. Now when he is not home she goes dada dada all day long pretty much. Its very cute. I can tell she is turning into a daddy's girl

Some exciting news for me is that I have a job. I start Monday the 19th for a company named Americall. Its not my dream job but its something different for me. So wish me luck. I think that is all I have to report today.
